VARSITY dropped their first ever single, “Round One” on January 5, 2017.
You might want to find this group very interesting (and intriguing) due to the fact that VARSITY, a group formed by GKC Entertainment and In Hi Media Ltd. has their first Muslim member and the first one ever to make it in the K-Pop Industry.
Manny (만니), born in Nov. 17, 2001 (15 years old) is the youngest among the members. Manny is an East-Asian mixed race Uyghur Muslim from China. He started as a model in China at the age of 10 and pursued that career for a few years and also practiced singing and dancing.

So far, his religious background and beliefs was not an issue for the vast majority of VARSITY’s fans nor it has been a nuisance among its members.
