Soribada Voting Has Closed With EXO Leading
Recently, the first Soribada Best K-Music Awards was one of the most awaited award shows by every K-pop fan ever.
Soribada is the first digital music service created in South Korea back in 2000. After facing many changes it is still one of the most popular Korean music services.

As known, The First 2017 SOBA ceremony is intended to bring Kpop artists together and popularize Kpop music globally.
And the voting has just closed with EXO leading in two categories per number of online votes.

The award show is opened to the groups who are nominated. Furthermore, the award will be given to the group that received the most votes online added up with the number of streams, downloads and critic points. Apparently, the strongest nominees are EXO and BTS.

So far, it is confirmed, that WANNA ONE, NCT127, DIA, Cosmic Girls and SONAMOO will attend the award. Reportedly, NCT127 and Wanna One are nominated in both categories – 2017 SOBA 10 and New Hallyu Popularity Award.
The first Soribada Best K-Music Awards Ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 20th 2017, 6:30 pm (KST). It will be broadcast live on SBS MTV. The ceremony will take place at Jamsil student gymnasium.
The award show has their own voting app. The Voting started last July 20th 2017. All the songs released from September of 2016 to August of 2017 will be able to get a nomination in the awards show.
Every group has their own unique style and all of them have pros and cons so it’s pretty hard to vote if you have a diverse range of choices. Many fans voted tirelessly. From across the world, kpop fans downloaded the app. They posted countless tutorials on social media with translations on how to use the app. Globally, EXO Ls and ARMYs voted actively. It is a close battle between EXO and BTS.
