SUPER POPCON PH 2017 MISSION 1 – CLEAR!
KPOP fever was really felt in the Philippines, last July 7, 2017.
KIMCHISLAP reporter has attended the venue to witness six K-Pop idol groups and one K-Pop girl solo singer performed at Super PopCon PH 2017 Mission 1 concert, at the Mall of Asia Arena, 7pm KST.

The said boy groups are B1A4, BTOB, B.A.P, VIXX, PENTAGON and B.I.G. A total of 39 boy idols and KRIESHA CHU, a Filipino-American K-Pop singer, who just debuted recently. They rocked and heated up the MOA Arena.
Everything was going according to schedule
As early as 7 in the morning, Filipino fans were already arriving from different parts of the country and even from neighboring countries! Many fan clubs were giving out concert merchandise and stuff like banners, photo cards, flower crowns, glow sticks and fans.
Afterwards, in the afternoon, SVIP ticket holders were given perks. A Sound check party with the artists and a Photo Op with their chosen artist. The sound check party started at two in the afternoon and ended around four, followed by the photo op.
At exactly six o’clock in the evening, fans seated in Gen Ad, Upper Box, Lower Box, Silver, Gold and VIP were already entering the arena.
7 K-Pop artists have set PH MOA Arena on fire with their amazing performances
The Super Pop Con proper fired up at eight in the evening. Instantly, unending screams were heard as soon as the first group – PENTAGON has hit the stage. Filipino Universes (official fandom name) were so hyped and joined in the singing.
Second group to perform was BTOB. They made every Melody’s (official fandom name) heart melt with their ballad songs. The blue ocean dominated the arena because of BTOB’s official light sticks. In addition to that, BTOB Peniel talked about a plan on having their own solo concert in PH, which enthused the fans.
Next group to surprise the fans was VIXX with a song “Shangri La“. Starlights (official fandom name) sang along with VIXX and raised their light sticks to show their love for the group. Also, Starlights wore flower crowns to be recognized, since VIXX loves flowers.
Afterwards, B1A4 came out and every BANA (official fandom name) fell in love with their show. The arena got specially lit when they sang “A Lie“. Moreover, members even interacted with their fans.
Kriesha Chu surprised the fans by performing a song in tagalog
Later on, Kriesha Chu charmed the stage as she sang her debut song “Trouble“. The audience was also touched by her gift – a tagalog song “Kung ako nalang sana“.
Furthermore, Boys In Groove, also known as B.I.G made the arena more lively. Boys energetically presented their songs “Aphrodite“, “Hello“, “123” and “Hello Hello“.
In addition, the PH BIGinnings (official fandom name) were really thankful to organizers. This was the first time B.I.G came to Philippines.
B.I.G shared plans to have a solo concert in Philippines
Addendum to that, B.I.G will be having their first solo concert called BIGinning in Manila this coming September as a part of their first Asian tour.
Last but not least, B.A P turned up the stage with their heart stopping performance. BABYz were so hyped and danced throughout the whole show.
Finally, artists thanked all the fans during an ending and promised to come back again soon.
