Sunggyu talks about INFINITE contracts renewal with Woollim Entertainment at Radio Star.
Last June 21st, 2017, Infinite leader Kim Sunggyu participated in an episode of Radio Star as the special MC of the show.

As he introduced himself, the other MCs asked him,
“When will Infinite be making a comeback?”
Sunggyu wasn’t able to answer immediately to the MC’s question. But then, a moment later he gave a reluctant answer,
“When we reach an agreement with our contract terms… It’s the season of renewal… Our contracts have ended just last week”
With his answer, Yoon Jongshin (one of the MCs) jokingly said,
“Let’s go solo.”
Sunggyu laughed it off and responded,
“I have already released solo albums two times, I will comeback with a great album again.”
INFINITE contracts with Woollim Entertainment unfortunately came to an end last June 9. On June 12th the company said that the group’s contract renewal is still under discussion and that negotiating is taking a positive direction.
As some may wonder if this is the reason for INFINITE planned comeback postponing… Previously it was reported, that comeback was postponed due to infinite members Kim Sungkyu and Lee Sungjong sustaining traumas they are still recovering from.
