Apink release teasers ahead of Summer comeback
It was confirmed on June 2nd, that Apink 에이핑크 would be having a comeback on June 26th. The last comeback the group had was with Cause you’re my Star at the end of 2016.
The group released an annual single Always for their 6th anniversary in April.

Recently, Eunji released her second mini album titled The Space, which was a huge success, while Naeun went on to star in PSY MV for New Face.
On June 14th Apink teased fans with a track listing preview
First of all, for their 6th mini album titled Pink Up the group gave their fans a quick preview of the track listing. The album consists of 7 tracks with one being an instrumental.
Five was placed on a different side to the other tracks, which hinted that it will be the title track. The album features songs such as Eyes, Evergreen and Always.

Apink release a schedule for the upcoming teasers
It was announced, that everyday a teaser would be released, ranging from youngest to the eldest member and June 25th would be dedicated to a group teaser named Apink Day.
The teasers would feature 2 images released at midnight. Meanwhile, the video teaser would be posted around noon KST.

On June 19th, Hayoung became the first member to be teased for Pink Up
The first teaser for the new comeback featured Hayoung. One teaser featured her holding a glowing disco ball, which could mean a retro themed MV.
While the second teaser showed a bare faced Hayoung wearing a simple t-shirt which gave a ballad feel to the whole album.

The first video teaser featured a monopoly type board placed on the floor. They also included dice, appearing at the end, maybe hinting at a love game.

Namjoo became the 2nd member to be teased. In the first picture we see a slight change of theme, due to the use of bright colours.

Whereas the second teaser is more intimate. Namjoo is covering half her face with barely any make up on.

The video teaser released showed more of the title track. Giving us hints of instrumental at the beginning turning into an upbeat chorus.

Naeun’s teasers were released on June 21st and had the same basic theme as Hayoungs. The teaser showed a more glamorous side with bright jewels being the main focus.
The last teaser is showing Naeun in natural makeup staring directly at the camera, hence, giving off innocent vibes.

Naeun’s video teaser is slightly different to the other members. We see her holding onto her heart, which could represent a love song.

Eunji was the next member to be teased for the new comeback
The teasers showed a different side to others. She is seen being playful with a huge smile even in the next teaser.

They showed a different video teaser for Eunji, with a simple verse being sung and a picnic scene being played out.

Bomi was the fifth member to be revealed. Her set of teaser images included lots of beautiful jewels. Those were the main focus alongside a bare faced Bomi with a messy bun looking unbelievable.

Bomi’s MV teaser had more of a comical feel due to her cute dance mid video. There were hints of a love song throughout, which is Apink’s style.

Chorong is the last member due to being the eldest. Her teasers featured more of a fun side. Especially one with the bubble machine.
She showed a more simple teaser with hardly any make up on and had a natural feel, which seems quite refreshing.

The most noteworthy scene in the MV showed a playful Chorong jumping around before being surprised. This could be connected to the lyrics within the song.

Apink posted another teaser of the group on June 25th at midnight. The images featured the group looking glamorous, while the other image was completely different showing a more fun side.

Most recently, the group has faced many problems because of a death threat made by a fan. Their agency – Plan A Entertainment quickly dealt with it. Furthermore, Apink will continue to promote Five as planned.
