On July 27, 2017, K-Pop group Loona (이달의 소녀) revealed eighth member Choerry with a track Love Cherry Motion.
This pre-debut MV is going back to the original style of Loona’s concept. They use dark colours with mostly purple special effects, which matches Choerry’s Loona colour.

Loona Choerry’s pre-debut single Love Cherry Motion MV analysis
The MV was filmed in Jeju island and it was filled with purple themed lighting effects.
First of all, the opening for the MV is Choerry appearing to walk through different locations carrying a backpack, representing youth and freedom.
Choerry is seen with fellow members YeoJin, HaSeul, Kim Lip and JinSoul throughout the MV, one special effect is used when Choerry eats a cherry and appears to teleport to another location.
The MV changes to a full moon special effect alongside a red, blue and purple strobe lighting, which is hinting at the next sub-unit featuring Kim Lip, JinSoul and Choerry. A bat symbol can be seen, which represents Choerry’s Loona animal.
While, Choerry is surrounded by dancers in a half triangle style. The setting is covered in purple lighting, matching the MV theme and the choreography is very catchy and fits the beat of the song.
Then, we see Choerry lying in a field, which has a purple scale special effect. This matches the overall concept of Choerry’s Loona theme.
Meanwhile, the song has a unique edge, due to the mix of the beat and the drop during the chorus.
Finally, the lyrics represent the feeling of starting to like someone and how to deal with the emotions.
Loona revealed a Choerry X JinSoul collaboration track
Furthermore, Choerry also released the track Puzzle, which featured Loona member JinSoul. The song features a very catchy beat alongside the chorus, both members voice fit well with each other.
In addition, Choerry will be joining Kim Lip and JinSoul in Loona’s new sub-unit.
