Laboum Return With Summer Special Single Album Only U
On July 25 2017, Laboum (라붐) returned with their digital track titled Only U.
This summer comeback is showing more of a girl next door vibe. They used vibrant colours with blue theme attires, which matched the MV set. Solbin and Yulhee both showing different sides such as comical and shy, which matches the personalities of Laboum.

Laboum released their long awaited summer comeback single Only U
First of all, the MV is colourful and has unique locations.
The opening of the MV shows the male lead waiting at the bus stop, while ZN can be seen gazing from a far. This expresses a long distance romance, that some people can relate to throughout their lives.
Yujeong is seen staring at the male lead, while the rest of the group follows. This could represent the feeling of liking someone, who doesn’t have the same emotions. This could connect to a younger audience.
We see Laboum members working at a pop up ice cream store, which is approached by the male lead. Also, it causes the group to work at gaining his attention and this connects to the theme of the song.
The MV changes to Laboum all wearing matching blue two-piece attires. The choreography is very eye catching and sharp.
Moreover, the song has a unique sound and features the use of trumpets in the opening of the track.
Finally, the lyrics represent the feeling of liking someone, who doesn’t notice you, which connects with the MV.
