Winner returns with two summer songs Island & Love Me Love Me
On August 4th 2017, Winner (위너) returned with their 2nd single album titled Our Twenty For, which is the second in the series related to the number four. The two singles are titled Island and Love Me Love Me.
This comeback is showing more of a youthful feel. They used exotic locations such as a beach, baseball field and penthouse, which matches the songs theme. The MV’s are filled with soft colours and beautiful locations.

Winner Island Music Video Review
First of all, the opening for the MV is quite simple with Winner appearing to walk towards a sunset, which represents friendship and connects to the track’s concept.
Jinwoo is seen in a white summer attire and standing at a cliff edge. His arms appear raised, which is symbolic for freedom.
We see Winner driving a golf cart around a neighborhood, which represents living in the moment and the youth theme.
Winner Love Me Love Me Music Video Review
The opening for the MV shows Jinwoo appearing to be laying on a field waiting by his telephone and one special effect was used – the girl’s telephone was separated to symbolize a one sided love.
Meanwhile, Winner appears to connect both Island and Love Me Love Me MV’s together with the group walking towards the sunset, which represents friendship.
Also, the final scene shows Winner appearing in a forest together. The group all wore two-piece beach attires, which connects to the summer vibe.
Moreover, both tracks are upbeat and have a tropical vibe.
Finally, the lyrics for both tracks represent the feeling of falling in love.

Winner recently celebrated their 3rd year anniversary on August 17th, YG Entertainment posted a special poster highlighting the number 3.

Lastly, within a few hours of release Winner peaked at #6 on the Bugs chart for Love me Love me. Our Twenty For sold over 13,217 copies on the 1st day of release.
