We are already used to seeing Idol live streams and selcas. Most of the time those look absolutely amazing. This leaves everyone wondering what tricks do they use to make it look so perfect and what do we do wrong? Turns out there’s a catch. Nothing is as simple as it looks.

An EXO fan recently revealed behind the scenes of EXO CBX selca to the online community. Xiumin, Baekhyun and Chen were showing off their charming warm smiles to what appears to be a cellphone camera.
But if you look further away, a lot more is hidden behind the frame from the public’s eyes. Turns out, Xiumin wasn’t actually filming with a cellphone.
During a broadcast, for better image quality, their staff used an HD camera. Members looked into the camera with a surprise, pretending it was a cellphone. What a praise-worthy professional spirit!
What a great acting skill, Xiumin! Bravo for even using props!
Gotta admit, it would be a shame to complain. The better the quality, the better you can see your favorite idol. But an illusion of it being taken with a cellphone camera gives a bit more of an intimate atmosphere between idols and their fans, don’t you think? Would gladly be fooled again! Who knows if there is another funny secret behind EXO Selca Broadcasts we have yet to find out.
