K-pop rookies Weki Meki release summer debut album WEME
On August 8th 2017, Weki Meki (위키미키) debuted with their first mini album WEME and the title track is called I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend.
This debut is showing more of a girly vibe. They used bright colours with mostly pink themed props, which matched the retro theme.

The MV was filled with vibrant colours and colourful locations.
First of all, the opening for the MV is bright with Yoojung appearing alone lying beside a plastic toy. Yoojung is wearing a multi-coloured jacket. The appearance of the toy could represent youth.
While, Doyeon is seen pointing at a strobe broken heart light, this could represent a one sided love. Doyeon is wearing a sporty retro two-piece attire, which connects to the theme.
Then, the MV changes to a bedroom setting, the group sitting in a circle. Suyeon confesses her feelings to which the other members realize they all like the same guy. Weki Meki are all wearing colourful bed two-piece attires.
Later on, Weki Meki are seen having a party in a kitchen setting, this could represent youth and getting over someone you loved.
Also, Weki Meki is seen in red and black attires and the choreography is sharp and matches the beat.
Meanwhile, the song is upbeat and has slight hints of hip-hop, which makes it quite catchy.
Finally, the lyrics represent a one sided love, which could connect to a younger audience.

Weki Meki held a showcase for WEME on Naver Vlive App too
Recently, the group went on to host their own Vlive showcase for their debut. Weki Meki performed songs from the album, such as Stay with Me, Fantastic and I Don’t Like Your Girlfriend.
