Japanese comedian Pikotaro who not so long ago released an extravagant music video “PPAP” that went insanely viral on the Internet is going viral again with a new odd song called “I LIKE OJ”.
His previous single “PPAP” about a random fruity collaboration with a pen has earned insane popularity among netizens due to its bizarre concept. Video has gathered hundreds millions of views on YouTube worldwide and broke many charts. Tons of people including various celebrities and K-pop idols have jumped on this trend’s bandwagon making covers and parodies contributing to it’s popularity even more and introducing it to wider audiences.
Many compare this phenomenon to Psy’s “Gangnam Style” which went viral few years back and made a Korean singer a worldwide star.
This time around a Japanese comedian has earned a spotlight. And judging from how Pikotaro’s new song “I LIKE OJ” has already gathered several millions of views despite being just released a few days ago we might see more hits from him going viral in the future.
Pikotaro’s new song “I LIKE OJ” is about his preference of orange juice to any other types of juices.
Music video reveals Pikotaro dressed in his famous fashion terror animal print outfit used in his “PPAP” music video and him singing about different types of juices he says no to but once the orange juice is mentioned singer gets all excited and presents us yet another funky choreography.
At this point it’s hard to predict whether “I LIKE OJ” will become as popular as comedian’s previous song “PPAP” but it clearly has made a promising start.

Video is gathering lots of different responses. Some people absolutely hate it and some absolutely love it. But it surely doesn’t leave anyone disinterested. As there are almost as many dislikes as likes.
