Dispatch recently released pictures of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo on numerous dates throughout a seven month period. The couple have confirmed the marriage rumors and will officially get married on October 31.

Many sources from Dispatch have come forward and revealed that they knew for a long time that the couple was dating.

“These two are really serious and have considered marriage”

Song Joongki and Song Hyekyo visited Tokyo back in January and were seen out with a few friends. Dispatch decided not to release the pictures.

The two began dating while filming for Descendants of the Sun

One friend close to the source explains how the couple would accompany each other for overseas trips.

“In the beginning of last year, Song Joongki sent snacks to Song Hyekyo during a photoshoot. All the staff members were confused and this was before Descendants of the Sun began airing on KBS.”

Couple’s agencies have confirmed the marriage news in a short statement

“It is a very sensitive and significant moment in everyone’s life and that is why we’re giving out this statement now. We hope everyone understands. We would like to ask for blessings for the beautiful couple for the future.”

The couple wrote individual letters to their fans on their Fan cafe accounts:

Song Hyekyo wrote,

“He was a good colleague and we contacted each other after our project finished, and that’s how we got to know each other. The trust he made me feel for the future ahead made me realize his feelings toward me. That’s when I became sure.”

Song Joongki posted:

“I made a precious friend who spent that happy time with me. We confirmed our sincere feelings for each other and became a couple who loved each other. At the beginning of 2017, we made a promise to each other to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Fans couldn’t wait to share the exciting news about the new couple

“The love between each other is no joke.”

“Can’t wait for the children.”

KBS drama has revealed they will be re-airing Descendants of the Sun in celebration of Song Joongki and Song Hyekyo marriage news. Episodes 1 to 8 aired on July 5 while episodes 9 to 16 will air on July 6.
