Synopsis
Ruler: Master of the Mask story unfolds in Joseon era, in the 18th century. Drama revolves around the Crown Prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seungho), who is fighting against wealthy and powerful organization Pyunsoo hwe, that low key holds control of the nation by obtaining the rights for all Joseon water supplies. Crown Prince Lee Sun becomes the hope of the nation in this battle over water. Gaeun (Kim Sohyun), the woman he loves, helps Lee become a strong ruler of the nation.
