EXO made it into the Guinness World Records Book – 2018 Edition

Yet again, EXO and EXO L, going hand in hand keep impressing the world with their achievements.

The Guinness World Records – 2018 Edition book was released on August 29. And among many other records EXO’s achievement was also spotted by the fans.

This time, EXO has achieved the most daesangs (grand prizes in Korean) at the Mnet Asia Music Awards, or MAMA, for short.

Previously, EXO won The Album Of The Year for EX’ACT album at MAMA in 2016. It was their fifth daesang at the annual award ceremony. They were winning The Album Of The Year award from 2013 – 2015. Also, they won “The Artist Of The Year” in 2014.

They have finally matched, now – the runner up – BIGBANG, who won Song Of The Year in 2007 and 2015 and Artist Of The Year in 2008, 2012 and 2015.

Previously, ex member Luhan has also gotten into the Guinness World Records book in 2014. On his football themed Weibo post he received the most comments of all time. At the time he reached over 13 million comments. Later on he topped his own record, reaching over 100 million comments.

Also, member Lay broke seven out of eight Guinness World Records in 2016. With his solo debut album Lose Control he took spots on  YinYueTai China Weekly Charts, breaking the world record.

Congratulations to EXO members and we wish they break many more records in the future.

Meanwhile, the group has wrapped up their promotions with THE WAR album, with a title track Ko Ko Bop recently. They became a Quadruple Million Seller with this album. Keep slaying, EXO! And they are currently preparing for another comeback in September with THE WAR repackaged version.
