Time Magazine Included BTS In The 25 Most Influential People On The Internet List Along With Hollywood Stars and Other Noteworthy People
Yet again South Korean boy group BTS are in the spotlight internationally. This time, the boys got selected as “The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet” by TIME Magazine.
As known, previously BTS had made a grand entrance into the Western scene during Billboard Music Awards. Thanks to their fandom ARMY, they got nominated for TOP SOCIAL ARTIST AWARD at BBMAs and actually won it surpassing such Hollywood big shots as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and others by hundreds of millions of votes. All Thanks to fans voting tirelessly on social media platforms.
Every contest BTS joins or any charts, ARMYs will make them climb and stay on top. So no wonder TIME Magazine selected them as The 25 Most Influential People on the Internet. It’s well deserved.
This time, BTS shared the list with such people as J.K. Rowling, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Katy Perry, President Donald Trump etc.
The TIME magazine said,
“Overtaking Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez to spend 27 consecutive weeks atop Billboard’s “Social 50” chart, which tracks popularity across different platforms, would be an impressive feat for any artist.”
During BTS acceptance speech at BBMAs, group’s leader Rapmon said,
“This award belongs to [everybody] around the world who shines the love and light on us”
It’s clear, that ARMYs aren’t planning to stop shining the love and light on BTS, so there will be many more awards and lists BTS will conquer in the future.
